The Hike

1. Check your starting point

   Use the linked Yost Trail Head listing and the tourism route map. Confirm the trail before leaving the dirt parking area opposite Fire Station 1.

2. Climb above the lake

   Follow the established trail uphill toward June Mountain. Take breaks where you can safely step aside for other trail users.

3. Choose your destination

   Use the map for the crossing above the chalet and onward options. Yost Meadows and Yost Lake are different turnaround points.

4. Return with time to spare

   Retrace your chosen route. Keep a daylight margin and turn back earlier if weather, navigation or fatigue become concerns.
